Dear Eagle Family,

This has been a year for the record books. We just endured a historic snow storm that devastated many families and businesses in our community ALL while we are in the midst of a global pandemic. We, at Akins ECHS, are prepared to come together to support the members of our family who are in need. Please reach out to us if you are in need of any assistance. We want to help our families as much as we possibly can, now and always.

I know this has been a year of incredible loss. I look at our Class of 2021, many of whom have not stepped foot on campus since last March, and I think of all the milestones we missed together due to COVID-19. It is truly heartbreaking. We think of you everyday seniors and we are still searching for ways to celebrate you.

As we round the corner to the end of the year we still do not know the status of Prom, Senior Breakfast, Senior Barbeque, or Graduation. However, I can tell you that we will be holding a Senior Parade for the class of 2021. We are working on the details of the parade, but I can confirm that it is happening. We love you!
