Destiny: Rise of Iron features updated content
December 10, 2016
With all the new games coming out, there has been an uprising of people who are interested in adding more games to their collection. Some people spent their money on disappointing games, while I was excitedly waiting for the release of Destiny: Rise of Iron DLC.
The Rise of Iron update brought the game back to life and attracted many new players. One amazing thing they do is a special DLC called Festival of The Lost. It’s a Halloween DLC featuring special masks, weapon skins and broomsticks.
A Christmas DLC will be released on Dec. 13. as well.
Gameplay: 10/10
The new DLC has a lot of action packed missions with new bosses and a new raid. There are new quests, new guns, new armor, and new PvP modes. The game has no frame drops and is completely stable. If you ever want to take a break from the storyline, the game has an action packed PvP that allows players to earn rewards. Even if you finish the storyline, the game does not stop there. There are bounties with varying rewards that are updated weekly.
Graphics: 9/10
The game has been out for quite some time and the graphics have improved tremendously since the game’s release. The colors are very representative of an apocalyptic setting. The graphics are visually appealing and there is no lag at all. Sometimes there are weird glitches in the game, but it really isn’t something that affects the game.
Plot (Spoiler Free): 10/10
Destiny: Rise of Iron starts off with Lord Saladin calling you to check something out. You play as the Guardian and help him get the Iron Temple back in place. The Iron Temple is a new hangout to be with your friends, pick up quests or buy weapons. Once you take the Iron Temple back, players take out a new enemy and the story prepares them for the new raid. The raid is up to 6 players and players can earn a lot of rewards in the raid.
Lasting Appeal: 10/10
People enjoy it when their favorite game releases new content. Destiny has a total of 4 DLC’s. Each DLC is long and has a lot of missions to keep players entertained.
The Verdict: 10/10
If you love first-person shooters and if you love playing games with your friends, then Rise of Iron is the game for you. In my opinion, I feel that if you play this game, you will like it and want to play it a lot more. I am happy with all the progress that this game has made and I look forward to seeing what else this game brings to its community of gamers
