Top scary horror movies of the 2010s

For the last 10 years, scary movies have been getting scarier and scarier each year from 2010 and now changed the graphics, details, makeup and designed. This year they have been getting very very interesting like the movie “Get Out” and “Quiet Place” there scary in its own kind of the way it makes you think it could happen one day or that it’s real I believe out of 10 years of our decade of scary movies they are the scariest and best movies.

A Quiet Place

A Quiet Place is a very silent movie, they don’t use a lot of words they use a lot of sounds it’s a very interesting movie it leaves you with suspense on what’s about to happen I really recommend u watch it. It’s about a family that must live in silence to avoid mysterious creatures that hunt by sound. Knowing that even the slightest whisper or footstep can bring death, Evelyn and Lee are determined to find a way to protect their children while desperately searching for a way to fight back.

Get Out

Get Out was scary bur, not ass scary as you think it is it was actually surprising where you didn’t expect to happen, a lot of jump scared and funny scenes where u laugh a little but most of all its a good movie. Now that Chris and his girlfriend, Rose has reached the meet-the-parents milestone of dating, she invites him for a weekend getaway upstate with Missy and Dean. At first, Chris reads the family’s overly accommodating behavior as nervous attempts to deal with their daughter’s relationship, but as the weekend progresses, a series of increasingly disturbing discoveries lead him to a truth that he never could have imagined.

3.Us- Us is a very good scary move to watch the way they use the sound makes it even scarier then it is., you don’t know who dies or who gonna make, its a movie where you have to pay attention because at the end your gonna be very very surprised. Her husband, son, and daughter, Adelaide Wilson returns to the beachfront home where she grew up as a child. Haunted by a terrible experience from the past, Adelaide grows increasingly concerned that something bad is going to happen. Her worst fears soon become a reality when four masked strangers descend upon the house, forcing the Wilsons into a fight for survival. When the masks come off, the family is horrified to learn that each attacker takes the appearance of one of them.

4. It- it is a good one to it scary bc the clown pops out of nowhere and I know not everyone likes clowns especially knowing he likes to hunt them down and eat them.  Seven young outcasts in Derry, Maine, are about to face their worst nightmare — an ancient, shape-shifting evil that emerges from the sewer every 27 years to prey on the town’s children. Banding together over the course of one horrifying summer, the friends must overcome their own personal fears to battle the murderous, bloodthirsty clown known as Pennywise.

5. You’re next- It’s on my list because it’s really thrilling and surprising you don’t know who survives or who gonna get killed. The Davisons, an upper-class family, are extremely wealthy — but also estranged. In an attempt to mend their broken family ties, Aubrey and Paul Davison decide to celebrate their wedding anniversary by inviting their four children and their children’s significant others to their weekend estate. The celebration gets off to a rocky start, but when crossbow-wielding in animal masks suddenly attack, the Davisons must pull together or die.5. The babadook-The babadook because it shows the actually scary paranormal activity happening and wherever the little boy goes it follows and hunting the mom and the son. A single mother, plagued by the violent death of her husband, battles with her son’s fear of a monster lurking in the house, but soon discovers a sinister presence all around her.

6. Annabell comes home – Annabell is also on my top ten list because you mostly scary movies that are based on true stories are much scarier they use the real events in the movie that had actually happened before like the doll. They keep Annabelle from wreaking more damage paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren lock the possessed doll in the artifacts room in their house. But when the doll awakens the room’s evil spirits, it soon becomes an unholy night of terror for the couple’s 10-year-old daughter, her friends, and their young baby sitter.

7. Oculus- Oculus is another choice it’s scary because after you are done watching it u don’t want to look in a mirror any more it’s haunted by their parents 10 years earlier, adult siblings Kaylie and Tim are now struggling to rebuild their relationship. Kaylie suspects that their antique mirror, known as the Lasser Glass, is behind the tragedy. Seemingly harmless reflections contain a scary image, a supernatural force that infects the mind of anyone who gazes into it. As Kaylie gets closer to the truth, the siblings become caught in the mirror’s evil spell.

8.The Nun- The Nun is also scary because it carries on to Annabell and the conjuring it’s really good it had a lot of jumps scares. It’s mainly about a priest with a haunted past and a novice on the threshold of her final vows are sent by the Vatican to investigate the death of a young nun in Romania and confront a malevolent force in the form of a demonic nun.

9. Sinister- it really scary because it shows on the taps each family and how they got murdered and it’s very suspenseful. Ellison discovers the unharmed projector and films in his attic, exactly as he did in the new house, along with an envelope of film labeled. He calls and informs Ellison that every murdered family had previously lived in the house where the last murder took place, and each new murder occurred shortly after the family moved from the crime scene into their new residence. By moving, Ellison has placed himself and his family in line to be the next victims.

10. The conjuring – I choose the conjuring as the top 10 scary movies because the conjuring is based on a true event which we all know we can get a little bit paranoid its connects with the movie “The Nun and “Annabell”. Its really scary there time was you jump from your seat because of parts you don’t see it coming. In 1970 Ed and Warren are summoned to the home of Carolyn and Roger Perron. The Perrons and their five daughters have recently moved into a farmhouse, where a supernatural presence has made itself known. Events soon escalate in horrifying fashion, especially after the Warrens discover the house’s macabre history.
