This past weekend the Akins Diamond Dazzlers and Sparkling Sapphires competed in Fredericksburg for the Hill Country Regionals.
“The girls did very well and I am so proud of all of them” Diamond Dazzler and Sparkling Sapphire director Lindsay Ball said. “They competed and took home many trophies but the biggest award in my eyes was hearing all the wonderful compliments from other high school directors, dance studio directors and competition staff who have never heard of the Akins Diamond Dazzlers.”

The Diamonds left the competition with the title of being grand champions and along with that bringing back several individual awards.
“The competition was super stressful,” junior diamond Ariel Roland said. “Everyone was tired but we worked really hard and came out as champions.”
