As most football/soccer fans around the world know, the Champions League final is well underway again after another amazing tournament with very good teams all across Europe. All the teams that participated in the tournament tried their best, but Liverpool and Real Madrid came up on top of their brackets after a series of many well-fought games.

Many football/soccer fans argue that Real Madrid had the harder path than Liverpool, I think they might be right according to the games. Real Madrid had to go through a stacked PSG team early in the round of 16, Chelsea in the quarter-finals, and a strong Manchester City team in the semifinals. Liverpool also had some exciting opponents like Inter Milan in the round of 16, Benfica in the quarter-finals, and a surprising Sevilla squad in the semifinals. Real Madrid’s hardest opponents were for sure Manchester City because they have a very good squad with a lot of well-known players, Liverpool’s was a bit hard to figure out but it might have been Villareal due to them knocking out the german giant, Bayern Munich.

This final tournament will take place in the Stade de France stadium in Paris on the 28 of May. These two big teams will collide and it will surely be an intense game. Many fans of both teams have mixed opinions on who will win along with every other football fan in the world. Both teams have had great seasons in their national leagues and are looking to add the champions league trophy to their collection.

Liverpool seeks to continue the journey to the quadruple while Real Madrid looks forward to topping their soon-to-come La Liga title with something nice. Personally, I think that this game will go to penalties at the end of the match, I’m still not sure who will win but it’ll be entertaining to watch.
