List Article Example

This is the opening paragraph of your list article. It should explain what the list is about and give readers a taste of your point of view and the big themes that bring the list together. Provide the reader with the types of criteria you used to judge what items made it on to your list. Perhaps provide the reader with a hint at what made your top pick as a tease to make them read the whole thing.

Remember to add a featured image, but set the featured image to be “Above Story” instead of “Beside Story.”

10. Item Name (Use Heading 3 to make it larger than paragraph text)

Add Image Source Info

Start by listing the item at the bottom of your list. Put a photo of the item above your explanation. Make sure that the size of the image is large enough to fill up the whole width of the story area. (Minimum recommended size should be 900 pixels for the width.)

Your item should fully explain why you chose the item for your list and how it relates to the criteria you are using for the list. Use evidence like statistics, personal anecdotes, expert opinion or analogies to prove your point.

Item 9. (Repeat the format above)

Add the source as a photo credit

Add your next explanation and repeat the format above until you have listed all 10 items. Be sure to add evidence and explanation and how it relates to the criteria you have selected.
