This year the ACES Academy, in conjunction with the City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department, has a new internship. Students in the Park Ranger Cadet program will participate in the Environmental Science major here on campus and will eventually have the opportunity to become park ranger cadets with a summer paid internship. The inaugural class members include sophomore Aimee Morales, juniors Kermeasha Carr-Maxwell, Arantzazu Beltran, Janice Franco and seniors Jose Nava, Tim Callahan, Albert Navarro, and Estefani Camacho. The program will be run by Kenyatta Williams, Ychacka Sells, Ashley (McGowan) Gahan and Jennifer (Lockwood) Urea.
