After about two days of messing around and learning –weeks before school, which is the craziest thing anyone has ever done– and working with unknown web material, the Akins Newspaper Staff can now final present a new, more functional, more beautiful website for you to enjoy.

The nice thing about it is the simple fact that we can edit the site. Unfortunately, we would have to do it again, and it would likely take another one to two days, but fortunately that means that we can get feedback from people just like you as to what we should do with it.

This is a new, phenomenal idea for the staff, given that we would have to cater to what would feel like fifty billion students. We can add interactive polls, quizzes, lists or images. We can add new stories that have a different layout than the home page. We can integrate blog posts, add a school podcast, post student made music, and so on.

Now, in order to get something this big started, the staff needed to find a way to get the information that they need to add such content to the website, and because of that, this small story is here.
