Student Council announced the names for the 2018 Homecoming Court, including the winners for underclassmen and the nominees for the senior class.

The following underclassmen were declared the winners of the Homecoming Court for their respective grade levels.

Baron and Baroness

• 9th grade Barron- Nathan Davis-Frederick
• 9th Grade Baroness- Makhi Falkquay

Duke and Dutchess

• 10th Grade Duke- Jaris Jabrowski
• 10th Grade Dutchess- Abigail Segura

Prince and Princess

• 11th Grade Prince- Nico Romero
• 11th Grade Princess- Shana Mao

The following seniors were announced as nominees to be Homecoming King or Queen.

The Akins cheerleading boosters also recently announced details for a Homecoming dance on Saturday, Oct. 13 at 6:30 p.m. in the Akins cafeteria. It will be the first homecoming dance since October 2015.

The theme will be “Night on the Town: A Black and White Affair.” The dance will be the night after the Eagles take on the Anderson Trojans at the Homecoming game on Friday, Oct. 12 at 7:30 at Burger Stadium.
