Trump ruins America
March 11, 2019
We all know what President Donald Trump has done and there are a lot of people who don’t agree with the actions he’s taken.
One of the biggest ones and well known is his proposal to build a 65-foot tall wall. One of his supporters who has generated controversy is Brian Kolfgae, who raised almost $20 million to fund the wall using GoFundMe if Congress would not agree to fund it.
But there is at least one person who hasn’t donated anything and his name is Donald Trump — the one person who brought up the idea of building the wall in the first place. And from the looks of it, he hasn’t donated a single penny.
People who want to build this wall tend to not like a specific race of people. If they knew the pain that families go through because of Trump they would have more compassion for their situations. Sadly, since some people don’t have brains, they follow a man who doesn’t care about anyone but himself. He holds himself above other people while he talks about “making America great, again.”
Since the first day of him being in office, it has been nothing but chaos. Here are five ways Trump has changed America for the worst since he has become president.
- Family separations of immigrant children from their parents.
- Causing a government shutdown that led to thousands of federal workers missing paychecks.
- He tried to replace Affordable Care Act which a lot of people depended on.
- Affecting the trade war with china.
- Trump will not criticize Vladimir Putin which makes him look weak.
For me personally, Trump’s insistence on building a wall and separating families has been the worst of his actions.
In the spring of 2018, the Trump administration began separating immigrant children from the parents if they were picked up by the Border Patrol crossing into the United States illegally.
According to a USA Today article, on June 26, 2018 there were almost 2,000 children who were separated at the border from 2,000 adults this went on from May 5 to June 9.
The Trump administration caused a federal government shutdown when he refused to sign funding bills because they did not contain funding for the border wall he has demanded. This was the longest U.S. Government shutdown in history.
According to Vox, there are still hundreds of families being separated. On June 26, 2018, federal judge Dada Sabraw ordered Trump administration to stop separating families at the border this happened eight months ago and there are still being separated thanks to new Government statistics it has shown that 250 parents who were separated from their children since June 26, 2018.
I believe that there are a lot more people being separated they just don’t want to let anyone to find out.
