The Akins Fine Arts Department is hosting a live, outdoor showcase event that will feature all of the performing arts programs.

The event will be held Saturday, May 22, from  3 – 6:30 p.m.

Performances will include:

• String & Mariachi ensembles
• Solo instrumentals
• Dances by Diamonds & Sapphires
• Eagles Color Guard
• Choir & Eagle Encore Ensemble
• Akins Eagles Band
• The Akins Journey Theatre’s performance of Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind.

The event will also feature artwork displays by Akins visual artists. The entire Akins community is invited to attend. In the event of rain on Saturday the event will be moved into the gym.
