As the season winds down, the Akins Eagles, who are 4-4 this season have two tough road challenges remaining this year.

This week on Friday, they will face the Hays Rebels on the road at Shelton stadium at 7:30 p.m. Then next Friday they will have another tough road challenge as they will travel to Lake Travis to face the Cavaliers.

Although the Akins Eagles who are sitting at 4-4 still have a chance at the playoffs. If the Eagles defeat both the Hays Rebels and the Lake Travis Cavaliers they will advance into the playoffs. The Eagles also still have a chance at the playoff if the Eagles either beat Hays or Lake Travis, but also Austin High will have to lose to Anderson High.
