EE Recommends: Artists to check out at SXSW
The annual SXSW Festival is fast approaching “the live music capital of the world” also known as our home town.
Every year, thousands of people flock to Austin from all over the world to check out the five SXSW festivals that take place in March: film, music, interactive, comedy, and gaming festivals. Unlike previous years, the music festival has landed the week before spring break, starting Monday (March 11) through Sunday, (March 17).
Before the festival is in full effect, The Eagle’s Eye has listed 12 artists we recommend checking out to make your SXSW Fest experience one to remember.
We’ve also made a Spotify playlist containing one song from each artist that will give you a taste of these artists’ sound.

What do you do for fun?: Listen to music, go to concerts, and skate/ride my bike
What movie do you recommend that everyone watch?: I recommend the movie, Meet the Robinsons, aka the most slept on Disney movie of all time.
Plans for after high school?: Go to ACC to get my associates degree and either transfer to Texas State to get my bachelor's in music education, or pick up a trade
