Akins hosted its annual Blue and Gold Night festival on October 30 to raise money for school organizations and invite the community to enjoy an evening of fun.
Akins clubs, sports teams and organizations set up booths to raise money by selling food, drinks and offering fun activities.
The activities included a haunted house put on by the Akins Theatre department and an event where attendees could throw a cream pie in the face of Akins teachers and staff. The Student Council raised money by selling a chance to dunk a senior with a huge tub of water.
The event also featured performances from our Diamond Dazzlers, band, cheer and more.
