Travis+County+SWAT+team+visits+campus

Today, the Criminal Justice Internship program received the opportunity to listen to members of the Travis County Sheriff’s office SWAT team speak.

“The presentation was really good,” senior Osvaldo Martinez said. “It had a lot of information.”

The students learned how the SWAT team works.

“Students hadn’t realized how it all works. They learned something new today,” criminal justice teacher David Lopez said. “These men are extremely busy and found time to come educate our students about their job.”

Dez Moore, Editor-in-Chief
I’m Dez Moore. I am currently a senior and this is my second year on the Eagle’s Eye staff. This year I was chosen to be the Editor-in-Chief. I’m really excited for what awaits our paper this year. This is a really thrilling year for our paper and I have high aspirations for the Eagle’s Eye paper. Now more about myself, I was born to discuss sports. I love writing and talking sports with anyone who provides a decent discussion or argument. I’m a HUGMONGUS Redskins Fan. I spend most of my time at school (the newspaper room) or at the gym training Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, and boxing. When I’m at home I am usually watching ESPN and tweeting. (@DezWeNeedMoore) I think I have told you enough about me. Check out the site and the rest of the editors and great staff we have here at the Eagle’s Eye.
