Wicked: For Good was a very highly anticipated movie that lots of Akins Eagles were very excited for. It is one of the most popular musicals and has a huge fan base. Wicked, as a musical, started on Broadway and became more popular. The first part of the movie came out last year, on November 22, 2024, and part 2 released on November 21, 2025.
Wicked collaborated with numerous brands; from different foods & drinks to makeup and clothing. They first collaborated with It Cosmetics on the Wicked brush Duo and followed up with Wella Professionals on their Wicked set. Other brands like Target and Aerie also released their Wicked collections in early October. Two of the most recent collabs Wicked has done are with Dunkin’ Donuts & R.E.M Beauty. Dunkin’ Donuts has released Munchkins donuts and themed drinks. With R.E.M. Beauty, they released a collection inspired by the movie with makeup sets for Glinda & Elphaba. Ariana Grande plays a huge role in the movie Wicked & Wicked: For Good. She is a very famous musician and actor who has been making music since 2008, and the role of Glinda had been a dream of hers for a while. Cynthia Erivo, another talented actress and singer, plays Elphaba, a young girl born with green skin, who befriends Glinda. As their unlikely friendship deepens, Elphaba becomes an activist for the rights of animals who are being oppressed by the wizard of Oz, ultimately leading to her being branded the ‘’Wicked Witch of the West’’ while Glinda becomes ‘’Glinda the Good”.
The song ‘’For Good’’ from the musical Wicked is one of the most emotional and meaningful moments in the story. In my opinion, Wicked: For Good was better than the first one. It had a lot more action, some new faces, and a beautiful ending. Overall, both movies were great, but For Good was way better. Many people argue over this title and debate which movie is better. People say that Glinda and Elphaba had a better friendship during the first movie. I really like action in movies, and I also liked the songs that were in the 2nd movie. The argument is still ongoing, and everyone has different opinions, but Wicked: For Good is still an amazing film.
