Parents should mark the third week of school (Sept. 9-12) as campus-wide student photo week at Akins this year.

Parents will receive an order form in their child’s first day of school packet. Students will be scheduled to have their photo taken based on their grade level and social studies course assignment. Freshmen and sophomores will be scheduled on Monday and Tuesday while juniors and seniors will be photographed on Wednesday and Thursday.

Parents wishing to purchase portrait packages must provide photographers with completed order form and payment at the time photo is taken.

These photos will provide freshmen through juniors with their yearbook photo and ID card photo. Seniors must schedule their formal yearbook photo separately by signing up outside of RM 221.
