Austin ISD announced today two new COVID-19 vaccine opportunities this weekend for Austin ISD students, staff and families who are ages 16 and older.

This is one of the few large scale vaccination efforts in Travis County that could help high school students because they will be providing the Pfizer vaccine, which is currently authorized for use by those who are 16 and older. The Moderna vaccine, which is what Austin Public Health provides, is only available for those 18 and older.
